Hey Guys,
It doesn’t matter the pattern kind of girl you are, there’s one thing about the African print – it calls to you. It’s rare to actually see anyone who doesn’t like the African print, the fact that you see something familiar on many of the prints that make you feel at home is enough reason to love it. Many people in diaspora find the print as a symbol, a way to defy the current status-quo but for we African’s it is an identity, it is something that we just navigate towards because it is a huge part of us. The Ankara print comes with different patterns, decor, colours and strokes – All of which is a representation of the African surrounding, culture’s and heritage.
However, just like everything else in this world, there are some prints that are better than others. Popular among these significant African wax prints are the Star, Peacock, Groundnut, Fire, Gramophone, Sugarcane and the likes but there are other designs that are really creative and pretty and would make very nice Ankara styles.
We’ve selected 6 Printastic Ankara styles to try in this coming month of June, check it out…

Ankara styles are really something else these days not to talk about the new prints (meaning included). One thing Africans care about are symbols and translation and that’s why the Ankara fabric appeals to us every time.
